I have the best parents in the world: not only because they were caring and responsible parents, but because they allowed me to explore who I wanted to be. They allowed me to experiment with several passions, they allowed me to be independent, they modeled important morals and values, they allowed me to make mistakes and they allowed me to make a mess! This all lead to becoming the person, parent and teacher I am now. I made choices that were uncommon (for girls), I became a world traveler and I raised five children.
